Objective: Inform and persuade about racial bias in schools.

Contribution: Conduct research, analyze studies, and create arguments.

Skills Utilized: Persuasive writing, APA citation, and critical analysis. 

What I Learned: Gaining insight into connections between funding and educational opportunity.

Objective: Inform the audience about Harrison’s contributions to the field of public relations. 

Date Completed: January 2025

Contribution: Researched data, summarized milestones, and wrote the reflection. 

Technology: Scholarly articles, Word, and citation tools. 

Skills Utilized: Research, summarizing, and historical analysis. 

What I Learned: I learned how practitioners influence public relations in the context of women’s leadership and corporate responsibility.

Objective: Reflect and inform on research guides for PR planning.

Skills Utilized: Listening, writing, and strategic analysis.  

What I Learned: Recognize the value of media and data in campaign planning and how research builds trust with stakeholders. 

 

5. Unit 3 Reflection Paper - Identify: Understanding the Self

Objective: Persuade and inform the readers about the importance of identity diversity in the workplace.

What I Learned: I learned that identity diversity builds collaborations, authenticity, and creativity in communication.
