1. Personal Brand Reflection

Client Organization: Personal brand project for Gaylord College.

Audience: Potential employers and PR professionals.

Objective: Communicate my personal brand through trust and excitement. 

Date Completed: Fall 2024

Contribution: Developed written content and design elements. 

Technology Utilized: Canva, Google Docs, and Wix.

Skills Utilized: Brand storytelling, writing, and strategic message development. 

What I Learned: I learned that showing every color and tone can reflect the identity of a brand. 

 

2. Unit 8 Individual Assignment

Client Organization: A hypothetical company scenario.

Audience: Classmates and teacher.

Objective: Illustrating workplace values such as innovation and empathy through a real company story.

Date Completed: Spring 2024

Contribution: Writing the case study and connecting decision-making with strategies through communication. 

Technology Utilized: Canvas and Word. 

Skills Utilized: Ethical reasoning, critical thinking, and writing.  

What I Learned: The project showed how integrity and empathy can make stronger relationships in the workforce. 

 

3. Climate Change Paper

Client Organization: Gaylord College assignment. 

Audience: Readers and classmates. 

Objective: Persuade and inform readers about the impacts of climate change. 

Date Completed: Spring 2023

Contribution: Researching and writing the paper. 

Technology Utilized: Word, OU Library Databases, and online sources. 

Skills Utilized: Writing, persuasive argumentation, and research. 

What I Learned: The paper emphasized the importance of reliable and credible sources and evidence-based arguments. 

 

4. Food and Shelter Story

Client Organization: Food & Shelter and Mission Norman.

Audience: OU community and Norman residents. 

Objective: Inform the public about the homelessness occurring locally and organizations that are addressing it. 

Date Completed: Fall 2023

Contribution: Conducting interviews, writing, and compiling quotes and research.  

Technology Utilized: Audio recorder, Word, and email communication. 

Skills Utilized: Interviewing, storytelling, and writing.

What I Learned: The experience shows the importance of listening to people’s stories intently. 

 

5. Reflection Paper on OU’s Core Virtues 

Client Organization: OU assignment. 

Audience: Teacher and classmates. 

Objective: Reflect on how compassion and honesty guide professional and personal growth. 

Date Completed: Fall 2023

Contribution: Writing the reflection and applying PR ethics to these goals.   

Technology Utilized: Word and Canvas. 

Skills Utilized: Writing, professional communication, and ethical analysis. 

What I Learned: The reflection shows that empathy and integrity are the foundation of public relations.
